		We want to see you and have a chance to catch up! So even if you don't plan on coming to AMC regularly, please come to the open house. It is a great chance to meet new people, match names with faces from our listserv, network with other moms, and see how much our kids have grown! The Open House is May 20th from 9:30-11:30. For the moms, it will include the pot luck brunch, presentation, registration, and the vendor fair. For the kids, we have face painting, a make 'n' take craft, and a firetruck to check out. Don’t miss out on this new and improved open house event! Good news for fundraising! Allstate, one of our corporate sponsors, has donated $500!! Thanks to Merryn and her connections with Allstate!

The Athens Mothers' Center (AMC) is a non-profit organization founded by mothers in 1981, and is part of the National Association of Mothers' Centers. AMC recognizes motherhood as a demanding and important job. It offers women an opportunity to take the stress out of mothering by offering discussion and activity groups, parenting education, social events, and information about community resources.
